Wild Elm Events is an event planning agency with a fully-remote team. We help corporations, entrepreneurs, and small businesses create high-quality and engaging live and virtual events.
Virtual events are a powerful way for you to share your expertise, grow your business, increase your impact, and show up as an industry leader. When you partner with Wild Elm Events, you will have an expert team who can support you throughout the event planning process and make sure that nothing falls through the cracks.
Connection & Community
We understand the importance of human connection, and we believe that events are one of the best ways to create connection, build relationships, and strengthen communities. Relationships are at the forefront of everything we do.
We know that experiences have the ability to change and transform people. We focus on creating exceptional experiences for our team, our clients, your event attendees / speakers /sponsors, and our community.
Authenticity & Transparency
We embrace everyone for their unique contributions to the team, and we encourage one another to bring our best selves to everything we do. We stay true to who we are, stand up for what we believe in, operate with transparency, and are mindful of others.
When faced with an opportunity or challenge, we rise to the occasion by asking smart thoughtful questions, getting creative to find a solution, and executing with the ability to see the big picture while keeping an eye on the tiny details.
We believe that continually learning, evolving, growing, and expanding is one of the greatest gifts that we can offer the world. We learn from others as well as from our individual and collective challenges and successes.
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
We are strongly committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We honor, celebrate, and foster diversity and inclusion on our team, in our clientele, and within our community.
Meet our Founder
Emily Murnen founded Wild Elm Events in 2016 in order to bring community and connection to the forefront of events. Her event experience spans from a 10-person retreat for a business coach to a 1,000 person corporate conference, and everything in between. Her days are now filled with logistics, sales, and putting her 15 years of corporate and nonprofit event planning & strategy to work. When she’s not helping businesses create incredible live and virtual events, you might find her enjoying a game night with friends (pre-pandemic), out on an adventure with her two kids, or drinking tea while reading a book on her couch in Portland, Oregon.
